Hello there,..Mount Rinjani National Park in West Nusa Tenggara, a popular destination for hikers, will be closed for three months from 1 January to 31 March 2021 to “restore its ecosystem or conserve nature” announced by the management of the Mount Rinjani National Park, Mount Rinjani will reopen on early April 2024

Mount Rinjani is part of the Rinjani-Lombok Unesco Global Geopark on Lombok Island.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) also warned of extreme conditions, including heavy rains, that could potentially pose a danger to visitors in the first three months of next year.
